Taxonomic observations on the poorly known genera Isaeus and Tampiconus (Opiliones: Laniatores: Stygnopsidae)sidae).
Resumen
Based on the examination of material and photographs of types of Isaeus and Tampiconus (Stygnopsidae), we rediagnose the genus and redescribe the species Isaeus neglectus comb. nov., including new distribution records.
Additionally, we consider Tampiconus as a junior synonym of Isaeus, proposing the new combination Isaeus philippii comb. nov. Finally, we discuss the taxonomic status of the genus Isaeus.
